SilentXMR privacy policy for Monero (XMR) swaps

SilentXMR needs very little to run a swap, and keeps it for a limited time. This page lists exactly what is stored and who else is involved.

What we store for an order

For each order we store: the coins and networks, the amounts, the rate and its US dollar value, your receiving address, the order status, the deposit and payout transaction IDs, the times, and an internal note we may add while processing it.

What we never collect

No name, email address, account, password, phone number or identity document, and no IP address in our order records. There are no cookies.

How long we keep it

What stays in your browser

Your browser keeps a list of your recent order IDs and, on the price page, the currency you picked, in its local storage on your device. They are never sent to us. Clearing the site data in your browser removes them.

Outside services

If you email us

If you write to service@silentxmr.com, we see your email address and message and use them only to answer you. We never ask you for an email address.

Public blockchains

Your deposit and payout are transactions on their networks. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Solana and Tron transactions are public by design; Monero transactions do not show amounts or addresses publicly.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version. Questions go to service@silentxmr.com.

  • Kraken's live price minus 0.5%. You see exactly what you get before you send.
  • Your rate is locked for 30 minutes from the moment you create the order. Send in time and the amount is yours.
