TradeOgre alternative: where to trade Monero (XMR) now
TradeOgre was a cryptocurrency exchange with XMR markets against BTC and USDT, and it no longer offers trading. Here are the places you can swap or trade XMR today, each checked against its own site or market data.

What TradeOgre was
TradeOgre was a cryptocurrency exchange with an order book. An archived copy of its own market data from May 2024 lists 254 markets, including XMR against BTC and against USDT. Today its website no longer offers trading, so balances, orders and markets there are not available.

Swapping instead of trading on an order book
On an order-book exchange you deposit into an account, place an order and then withdraw. A swap skips all of that: you send one coin to a deposit address and receive the other at your own address. SilentXMR quotes Kraken's last price minus 0.5% and locks the amount when you create the order, with no expiry.
- Choose the coins. BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, LTC or SOL to XMR, or XMR back to one of them.
- Add your receiving address and create the order. You see the exact amount you get, locked from that moment.
- Send the exact amount to the deposit address on your order. Payouts are sent by hand once your deposit confirms.
Peer-to-peer options
- Haveno networks such as RetoSwap trade XMR against crypto and fiat between people, with the coins held in multisig escrow. See Haveno vs a swap service.
- Bisq is a desktop peer-to-peer app where XMR trades against BTC. Its wiki calls Monero one of the most active markets on Bisq. Both sides post a security deposit of 15% to 50% of the trade, and altcoin trades have a one-day trade period.

Where can I trade XMR/BTC now?
On 18 October 2026, NonKYC, KuCoin, Bitfinex and Kraken (not in every region) had XMR/BTC markets. On SilentXMR you can swap BTC to XMR, or XMR to BTC, without an account.
Where can I trade XMR/USDT now?
NonKYC, WhiteBIT, KuCoin, MEXC, HTX, Bitfinex and Kraken had XMR/USDT markets on 18 October 2026. On SilentXMR you can swap USDT on Tron, Ethereum or Solana to XMR, and back.
Can I swap XMR without an account?
Yes. SilentXMR needs no account and asks for no name, email address or ID. The minimum is $50. Questions go to service@silentxmr.com.
Can I trade smaller coins against XMR?
SilentXMR only swaps XMR with BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, LTC and SOL. NonKYC lists XMR markets for several smaller coins.
