What StealthEX is

StealthEX says it is a non-custodial, automated platform for instant exchanges between digital assets, working with several large exchanges for liquidity. Its terms call it the operator of the service, its AML/KYC policy names StealthEx Ltd., and its terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Its pages give different asset counts: more than 1,500 (API docs) and more than 2,000 (FAQ and partners page). Monero is enabled in both directions on its site.

Its terms describe a variable service fee calculated as a percentage of what you send; no rate is published. The FAQ says you also pay the network fee, and liquidity providers may charge trading fees, all included in the estimate. It offers a fixed rate, for receiving an exact amount, and a floating rate; we did not find the fixed-rate window in its FAQ or terms. A floating-rate exchange fails if the rate moves more than 5%, and support then agrees a new rate or a refund.

On ID checks, its terms say it may require KYC verification, or information about your identity, source of funds or the purpose of a transaction, at any time, before, during or after a transaction. Its FAQ says verification is needed in rare cases, for example if a wallet is blacklisted by liquidity providers or a transaction is considered suspicious. Card and bank purchases go through Mercuryo, Simplex and Guardarian, which run their own checks.
