No-KYC crypto exchange for Monero (XMR): how it works

SilentXMR swaps BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, LTC and SOL to and from Monero without an account. Here is exactly what that means: what we ask for, what an order records, the limits, and how other services handle ID checks.

Quick answer

  • No account, no ID: you enter an amount and the address you want paid. We don't ask for a name, email address, phone number or ID.
  • What an order records: the coins, amounts, rate, your receiving address, its status and the transaction IDs. Nothing about who you are.
  • Price: Kraken's last price minus 0.5%, locked when you create the order, with no expiry. $50 minimum; above $50,000, contact support first.
  • The trade-off: payouts are sent by hand, so a swap isn't instant, and you trust SilentXMR between your deposit and the payout.

Rate is Kraken's last price minus 0.5%, locked when you create your order. Minimum $50. You'll get a deposit address and an order ID next.

What "no KYC" means on SilentXMR

KYC ("know your customer") is the identity check that account-based exchanges run before you can trade, usually a name, an ID document and often proof of address. SilentXMR has no accounts, so there is no profile to verify: each swap is a single order.

You enter the coin and amount you send and the address where you want to receive. You get an order ID and a deposit address. That's the whole relationship. Here is everything an order contains:

In the orderWhat it is
Order IDSX- followed by 10 letters and numbers, shown to you so you can follow the swap.
CoinsThe coin and network you send, and the coin and network you receive.
AmountThe amount you send, as you typed it, and its US dollar value at the time.
Rate and quoteThe locked rate, spread included, and the amount you will receive.
Receiving addressThe address you entered, so we know where to send the payout.
StatusWaiting for deposit, deposit received, sent, or cancelled.
Transaction IDsYour deposit transaction and our payout transaction, once they exist.
TimesWhen the order was created and last updated.
NoteAn optional internal note, for example about a support email you sent.

There is no field for a name, email address, phone number, account or ID document. If you email support, we see the email address you write from.

How a swap works, step by step

  1. Choose the coins. Pick the coin you send (BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, LTC or SOL) and enter the amount. The estimate updates from Kraken's live price as you type.
  2. Add your address. Paste the address where you want to receive. For XMR, that is a Monero address starting with 4 or 8.
  3. Create the order. You get an order ID, a deposit address and the exact amount you'll receive. It is locked from that moment, even if the price moves before your deposit confirms.
  4. Send the deposit. Send the exact amount on the network shown on your order.
  5. Receive your coins. Once your deposit confirms, the payout is sent to your address by hand, and its transaction ID appears on your order page.

No. Your order ID is all you need to follow the swap. If you choose to email support, we see the address you write from.

The order: coins, amounts, rate, your receiving address, status, transaction IDs and times. There is no name, email address, phone number or ID.

Can I buy crypto with a card here?

No. SilentXMR only swaps crypto to crypto. If you're starting from cash, see where to buy Monero.
